Allow dogs to share Montgomery Street Park - Petitions (Invalid)

This petition is on behalf of the dog owners and residents of Montgomery Park and its surroundings. Plans are in place to restrict access and use of Montgomery Park for dog owners. This is an extremely distressing proposal for many who rely on the park for recreational use and the dog community that the park has fostered for many years. As the only public park in Edinburgh which attempts to restrict access to dogs, we urge you to reconsider this for a number of reasons outlined in the attached document.
We would like the council to work with us alongside any residents of the area that are concerned about dogs accessing the park, in order to find creative solutions that allow us to share and mutually care for the space.
