We are a small group of academics who came together in 2018 to revive the fortunes of the fifteenth century Trinity Apse on Chalmers Close. We work with a wide range of local and national interest groups to find an appropriate future for what is such a significant part of Edinburgh’s early built heritage. We hold Open Days in the apse, give lectures and continue with our research. We have a book which covers all aspects of the church coming out soon.A project to find and record the stones lost during the demolition of the original Trinity Collegiate Church in 1848 to allow the expansion of Waverley Station is ongoing. We would like to work with other groups who have an interest in fifteenth century Edinburgh and related heritage issues.
